‘2023 Korea Artist Prize: Artist & Jury Talk’ – Event production and on-site direction

2023 marked the first year the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA) unveiled a newly improved version of the Korea Artist Prize. As part of this update, the museum hosted a public “Artist & Jury Talk” — a participatory roundtable for visitors. In this event, four artists presented their exhibited work and related past projects in their own words, followed by a Q&A session with international jurors.

The 2023 Korea Artist Prize was recognized for going beyond a conventional award model to become a meaningful platform connecting Korean contemporary art with the global art scene, while also offering the general public a more engaging encounter with contemporary art.
