2025 Korea Artist Prize: Artist & Jury Talk’ - Event production and direction



The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art held the “Artist & Jury Talk” on January 13, 2026 from 1-6PM at MMCA Seoul’s Multipurpose Hall as part of the final selection process for 2025 Korea Artist Prize.

This program took the form of a panel discussion featuring four nominated artists and a jury composed of both Korean and international members. Each artist introduced their practice and artistic vision, followed by a Q&A session with the jury and the audience. Kim Sunghee, Director of MMCA, stated, “We hope the Artist–Jury Talk will serve as an opportunity to foster a more multidimensional understanding of the contemporary landscape of Korean art, as represented by Korea Artists Prizeas well as a platform for meaningful exchange and communication.” She added that “MMCA will continue striving to present new directions and possibilities in Korean contemporary art.”
