Planning, coordination, and on-site operation of an international academic conference
The Chey Institute for Advanced Studies (Chairman: Chey Tae-won) held the “Trans-Pacific Dialogue 2026” on the 20th–21st (local time) at the Salamander Washington DC. Approximately 90 participants from the political, business, and academic sectors of Korea, the United States, and Japan attended the event, where they discussed avenues for cooperation on major issues including AI, energy, finance, and security.
Hosted by the Chey Institute for Advanced Studies, the Trans-Pacific Dialogue (TPD) is a platform that brings together current and former senior government officials, scholars, think tanks, and business leaders to discuss international issues concerning Northeast Asia and the Pacific region and to explore cooperative solutions. Launched in 2021, this year marked the fifth edition of the forum.
