I am Lee Eunsook was a special exhibition held in Commemoration of the 90th Anniversary of Woodang Lee Hoe-Yeong’s Passing. The exhibition sheds light on Yeongkoo Lee Eun-Sook’s story – her life as Woodang Lee Hoe-Yeong’s wife and independence fighter and how she worked as a shoe factory worker and seamstress to support independence movement and provide for her incarcerated son, all at the same time. The exhibition, along with her memoirs, provided valuable insight into the lives of Korea’s female independence fighters who were less noticed.
