“The Fantasy of 100 Years of Surrealism: A Special Exhibition from the National Galleries of Scotland”, which took place as part of the 2024 Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Corporation Art Festival(HAF), commemorated the 100th anniversary of the publication of The Surrealist Manifesto. The exhibition featured around 100 works and archival materials from the collection of the National Galleries of Scotland, including major pieces by iconic surrealists such as Salvador Dalí, René Magritte, Max Ernst, Joan Miró, Dorothea Tanning, Marcel Duchamp, and Alberto Giacometti. The exhibition invited the audience to immerse themselves in the uncanny yet captivating world of surrealism.
