2024 Korea Art Prize: Artist & Jury Talk’ - Event production and direction
The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA; Director Kim Sung-hee) hosted the 'Artist & Jury Talk' on February 11, 2024, from 1-6PM at the MMCA Multi-Project Hall to select the final recipient of the 2024 Korea Art Prize Award. Introduced after the 10th edition of the award, the 'Artist & Jury Dialogue' aims to transcend the traditional role of an art prize by actively contributing to the discourse in contemporary Korean art. The event featured presentations from the four shortlisted artists, followed by Q&A sessions with both domestic and international jurors. Additionally, the artists addressed selected questions from over 700 submitted by visitors during the exhibition period, as well as inquiries from the audience.
