‘2024 KANU Barista Championship’ – Event production and on-site operations
Hosted by Dongseo Food (CEO Kwangsoo Kim), the KANU Barista Championship is a competition designed to promote the excellence of KANU’s ground coffee and to spread premium coffee culture. In September 2024, participants with an interest in coffee were invited to apply, and the competition was judged by a panel of coffee experts, including 2023 World Barista Champion Um Bo-ram. After the preliminary round, eight baristas advanced to the finals. On the first day (the 16th), competitors prepared Americanos using KANU ground coffee, while on the second day (the 17th), they presented original signature drinks. The final winner was determined by the combined scores from both rounds.
