The Chey Institute for Advanced Studies held the Trans-Pacific Dialogue 2025 (TPD 2025), a 1.5-track strategic dialogue platform aimed at analyzing the challenges facing the Northeast Asia region and finding solutions. This 4th edition of TPD 2025 invited over 100 opinion leaders, including senior and former senior officials from South Korea, the United States, and Japan, scholars, economic leaders, and journalists, who play key roles in policy-making and shaping public opinion. The event featured passionate discussions on five key topics: The direction of U.S. foreign policy in 2025, U.S.-South Korea-Japan energy cooperation, AI infrastructure, Strategic competition in the AI era, and the security of U.S. alliances in East Asia.
