In a continued effort to further highlight the historical and artistic value of Seoul Olympic Park, 2022 SOMA Public Art Project aimed to envision Olympic Park as a place for both culture and communication. With ‘rest’ as the main keyword, the project featured ‘art benches’ that provided sophistication, intrigue, and respite for the visitors. By incorporating public participation from the planning phase, the project contributed in strengthening the cultural awareness among regular citizens and bringing new insight into public space.
